WiX - the Windows Installer XML toolset--lets developers create installers for Windows Installer, the Windows installation engine. The core of WiX is a set of build tools that build Windows Installer packages using the same build concepts as the rest of your product: source code is compiled and then linked to create executables; in this case .exe setup bundles, .msi installation packages, .msm merge modules, and .msp patches.

Question: How to generate .exe setup package using Wix 3.7 installer?Answer:
You can't create self-deployment packages in EXE format because this library export contents only to MSI file format. This package is used by Windows Installer to deploy it on a computer. EXE generation is not possible.

If you cannot uninstall it, download a new copy of the product and install it. It will create required uninstaller and registry items used to remove the product.
